Masters of mime, Chris and Crystal Hobart, bring the art of mime with specialized movement skills, physicalization of emotion, and stylization techniques. Students will be introduced to the technique of the great French master, Marcel Marceau, universally hailed as the greatest practitioner of the art in the past century. If you enjoy Improv, this is a great class to increase your ability to work with imaginary objects through pantomime. Theatre majors, mime technique will add to your acting ability with multi-character creation. Dancers, mime will increase your repetroire of movement and help you to add more layers of a story to what you are performing. Class will also use mime technique in inspirational storytelling.
