What is CYT Camp?
Well...maybe it's just one the BEST weeks of your summer! Coming next June, July & August...there's something exciting happening again for kids of all ages! Week-long musical theater day camps for ages 5-7, ages 7-10, and ages 10-14, PLUS a Teen Masters Camp for ages 14-18!
2010 SUMMER DAY CAMPS
SUMMER DAY CAMPS - Registration begins online FEB 1, 2010
Week-long musical theater summer day camps are offered in the Richmond area. Camps are staffed by CYT artistic team professionals & top CYT alumni students and are offered for ages 5-7, ages 7-11, and ages 10-14. The cost for day camp includes a t-shirt and daily snack. Team competitions, rotations through daily drama, dance, music, & craft workshops, a daily theme-related devotional, counselor skits, and an impressive concluding SHOWCASE for family and friends is what CYT Day Camp is all about!

This summer, you don't have to journey far to take a ride through the magic kingdom! At CYT's newest camp for youngsters, experience the world of Disney through highlights of some of their greatest hits of all-time like "Zip a Dee Doo Dah," "MIckey Mouse Club March," and more!
NIGHT AT THE WAX MUSEUM
The hysterical meets the historical in this comic romp through the wackiest wax museum in history! School's out for summer, but not for several unlucky students who don't know much about history—they have to re-take the class in summer school. Their teacher has arranged for them to help set up a new wax museum as a class project. Though the students' eyes glaze over with boredom, there's a twinkle in the wax figures' eyes... King Henry VIII finds himself face to face with Cleopatra. John Adams wanders in. But when Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard and a bevy of lady pirates show up, everybody's out for one thing—treasure! Join us for this mad-cap comedy adventure where the magic of history comes alive... literally! Features fun new songs like "Summer School," "Ancient History" and "Whar's the Loot?" It's an exciting new musical that can be adapted to all ages. See you there!
2010 TEEN MASTERS CAMP
TEEN MASTERS CAMP and SHOW - Registration begins online FEB 1, 2010 at 8pm
Teen Masters Camp is a 3-week summer performing arts camp at the beautiful Steward School theater for ages 14-18. Students enrolled in our Masters Camp will be exposed to all aspects of theater (sets, props, costumes, makeup, tech, etc) in addition to performing Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 on stage in August. Auditions and several rehearsals will be conducted in the spring with camp and shows being held during the summer. There is no experience quite like CYT Richmond’s Masters Camp!

Ages 14-18 (must be 14 by December 31, 2010)

Auditions will be held on 19 & 21 April (must be registered for Masters Camp in order to audition). Location TBA.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ONLY NEED TO AUDITION IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A LEAD ROLE. EVERYONE THAT REGISTERS FOR THE MASTER'S CAMP WILL BE CAST IN THE PRODUCTION.
Cost $399 (includes 2 weeks camp rehearsals, 1 week dress rehearsals, 7 shows plus a show t-shirt)
$210 camp registration due when you register online plus $189 show production fee due July 1.
